Day 1
miami, florida
Departure: 16:00
Miami Beach is everything you've heard about, but you have to see it for yourself. Take an Art Deco tour of Miami Beach to fully appreciate the area's signature architecture. The South Beach Art Deco District is a whimsical collection of more than 800 architecturally protected buildings in Miami Beach from the 1930s and 1940s – a definite must-see. Stay in one of its boutique or throwback hotels – you'll also find some of Miami Beach's finest dining, nightlife and spas here. North Beach's Ocean Terrace is fast becoming a smaller version of South Beach, with inviting oceanfront hotels and cafés. Regardless, be sure to go for a beachside stroll or to Haulover Park for fishing, bike rides, tennis or golf. And, of course, Miami Beach’s nightlife always concludes an unforgettable vacation day.

Day 3
puerto plata, dominican rep
Arrival: 08:00 - Departure: 17:00
Puerto Plata, also known as San Felipe de Puerto Plata, is a city in the Dominican Republic with a population of about 130,000. It’s the capital of Puerto Plata Province and is famous for its lovely sandy beaches. Puerto Plata is a popular resort destination, as well as a great place to meet Dominican people and shop in local businesses. You can take a funicular to the top of the mountain behind Puerto Plata, where you’ll find a replica of the original Christ the Redeemer statue in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. At the top there’s also a short walking trail with lovely views, a small cave, and a lagoon that’s really more of a pool. Fortaleza San Felipe is an historic fort located beside the main bay in Puerto Plata. In front of the fort there’s a pleasant grassy area that’s perfect for a picnic with views over the water.

Day 4
san juan, puerto rico
Arrival: 10:00 - Departure: 18:00
San Juan, the capital and largest city of Puerto Rico, was officially founded in 1521, making it one of the oldest cities in all of the Americas. As a United States territory, San Juan is a fairly unique place to visit in the Caribbean: the capital offers all the comforts and amenities you’d expect from an American city, yet still manages to maintain a distinctly Latin atmosphere and culture. The historic heart of the city, Old San Juan, is one of the oldest settlements in Puerto Rico and is full of colourful streets rich in historical and cultural significance. As you wander through Old San Juan, it’s hard not to be amazed by the five centuries of history that have been so beautifully preserved. One of Puerto Rico’s most famous landmarks, El Morro, is a 16th‑century fortress with impressive towers and tunnels. Nearby, San Juan Cemetery is one of the most scenic resting places you’re likely to see, set against dramatic coastal views. Just outside the city, the lush and diverse El Yunque Rainforest offers a natural paradise of waterfalls, trails, and tropical wildlife. Puerto Rico is synonymous with brilliant beaches, and you’ll find plenty along San Juan’s coastline, where soft sand and palm trees await. San Juan is a fantastic blend of beaches, history, vibrant culture, and buzzing nightlife. So, what are you waiting for?

Day 15
alicante, spain
Arrival: 08:30 - Departure: 16:30
Here’s an English (Ireland) translation, with subtle adjustments for Irish English vocabulary, phrasing, and tone: Located on the ever-popular Costa Blanca, tourists keep flocking to Alicante, probably because it’s managed to stay so untouched by their presence. A beautiful and well-laid-out city, Alicante is a real surprise along the southern coast. Beyond the polished pedestrian walkways, you’ll find the bustling streets of the old town, nestled at the foot of an impressive castle. With its drawbridges, moats, tunnels, and secret passageways, the Castillo de Santa Barbara isn’t just any old castle – it’s one of the largest medieval fortresses in Spain, and it offers stunning views over the city and the coastline. The Cathedral of San Nicolas de Bari is a fine example of the austere Renaissance architecture you’ll find in Spain, and it boasts a lovely cloister with intricately carved doors. Alicante is also known for having some of the best nightlife in the region. El Puerto and El Barrio are among the liveliest spots in the city once evening falls, but the Esplanada is more popular during the summer, as are the kiosks along Postiguet and San Juan beaches. With its gorgeous sandy beaches, long waterfront, and mild, pleasant climate, this city truly has a Mediterranean feel.
